Horses have ruled Kathryn's life since she sat on the back of her grandfather's workhorse at the age of 3. She wore her parents down and was given her first pony at the age of 5. Determined to devote her life to horses, Kathryn was one of those 'catch ride' kids who'd ride any horse, in addition to her own mount. By the age of 10, she graduated to her first 'real' horse, Storm Warning. Kathryn is an intuitive, talented and very savvy rider. She has the knack of knowing when a horse is ready to try to stretch themselves and try something new. Fortunately a renowned hunt seat trainer spotted Kathryn while she was jumping her pony over cross country fences and took her under her wing. Kathryn has won numerous year end awards with several different horses with Glass-Ed, ADA, MDC and USDF. Kathryn believes in higher levels of enjoyment of the sport as well as the camaraderie it generates. she strives to bring a new level of professionalism and experience to the Michigan horse world.
